About Me

My journey began when I was a senior in college.  I was 5’11” and a scrawny, hungry 137 lbs.

I remember looking myself in the mirror and for the first time not being happy with my body. I never minded much that I was skinny, after all, I played sports and always felt that I was in shape. But I wanted to be in a different kind of shape.

I wanted to look in the mirror and feel confident with my body. When you feel confident, you act confident, and when you act confident and assertive you begin to see changes in your life that reach beyond physical appearance.

Like many thin guys, I was afraid of the gym—afraid I would be ridiculed by a bunch of muscle dudes when they saw this skinny guy curling 20 lb. dumbbells.  I was afraid I would perform some exercise wrong, not know how to use a machine, attempt to lift too much weight and drop it on me…the list goes on.  Basically, I was afraid of the unknown—afraid of going outside my comfort zone.

I had always seen before and after photos of guys looking ripped after losing weight. But what if I wanted to gain weight and muscle? I was afraid of just gaining a gut and no muscle.

Then one day on the internet I found a muscle-building guide for skinny guys, by Vince del Monte. I saw the before and after pictures of a man who had the same problems I did. I was determined to have a new body like him. And thus my transformation began…

Only a year later and I am 170 lbs. I packed on 33 lbs. of muscle! I gained over 20 lbs in just 3 months by following Vince del Monte’s No Nonsense Muscle Building program.

I built this website to share what I have learned with other hardgainers, because there is a lot of poor information out there.

Look, I’m certainly no bodybuilder, and working out and eating right is only a small part of my life. I hope that you spend some time reading what I have written here. What I have compiled are not “secrets,” they are proven muscle-building techniques for skinny guys.

I invite you to check out some of my friend’s programs on the right sidebar. These guys have compiled amazingly detailed ebooks, something I hope to put together when I have the time. The testimonials speak for themselves.
